Step 1: lead-in

1,show students a video of Disneyland.

2,ask students to discuss the following questions

 Did you go to Disneyland last year?

 Have you ever been to Disneyland?

 Can you tell us something about your favorite park?

Purpose: by showing a video to provide a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere and motivate students’ interesting in talking about their past experience. By guide them answer these questions and compare the differences between “be” and “been”

Step 2 while-reading

1,Ask students to find out the new words and phrases in this passage, and try to guess the meanings together.

Purpose: through encouraging students to guess the meanings of new words and phrases, help them to develop a reading skill of guessing meanings. and form a good habit of thinking on their own.

2,ask students to find out sentences using the pattern of present perfect tense in this passage and try to understand them. 

3,guide students conclude the structure of present prefect tense and application conditions.

1,present two flag signs and ask students to guess the country names and say any information they know about these two countries. 

2,give two examples of different customs and ask students to guess in which country people will do like that.

Ask student to read the passage quickly and check the answer in step 2 part 2
